OVIEDO, CATHEDRAL, PRE-ROMANIC (UNESCO) + ESPICHA (traditional Asturian food)

The capital of Asturias always leaves its mark on our visitors for the cleanliness of its streets, and the good conservation of a historic center that contains such unique places as the Cathedral of San Salvador, the Archaeological Museum or the magnificent Fine Arts Museum. Mixed with the above, “but not agitated”, we will visit places such as the Plaza de Trancorrales, the municipal market of El Fontán, and the unique collection of statues that fill and ornament the city. Oviedo, has been chosen as Gastronomic Capital in 2024, so, we will take advantage of the guided tour to show our travelers the best gourmet food shops, aswell as the pastry shops full of the city's own recipes beside the wide range of restaurants and cider houses. We will not leave the city without visiting notable buildings and streets in the city center, as well as Campo San Francisco.

Within our program, we will take a guided tour of the Oviedo´s Cathedral with our licensed guide.

In Oviedo, you cannot miss the opportunity to visit the UNESCO Heritage pre-Romanesque monuments in Mount Naranco with us. (Exteriors only. Please ask us about possibilities in order to visit to the interior of the monuments).

The final point of this excursion consists of a traditional Asturian meal with cider and the local typical products of our rich and varied traditional gastronomy.
